blogs – one in a million

Standing out from the crowd is always difficult, but not with a rc.com blog. So show people who you really are, what you can do for them and how you work. You never know, they may like what they see.

There’s lot’s of ways to use your blog:

  • Promote yourself and your company
  • Document a project to show others what you can do
  • Share your opinions

JUst to kick off the blog, I'm inviting any consultants involved in RE, especially in developing countries to discuss opportunities and problems

Best regards

Robert Orr

Re: Renewables

Robert

Whilst I am not directly involved in RE, you may want to contact someone I worked with in South Africa. He is currently in the process of setting up a Centre for Appropriate Technologies and is pretty well connected. I am sure he would be willing to chat. If you are interested, let me know and I will introduce you.

Re: Renewables

Thanks CR. I'd be pleased to get in touch with your SA colleague, whats your involvement in RE indirectly.

Re: Renewables

Hi Robert
I spent time with the Southeast England Development Agency around the composite technologies for wind turbine blades.

Feel free to contact David Christer on chriscvc@mweb.co.za about RE in South Africa and I will drop him a line of introduction.

Good Luck

Re: Renewables

Thanks Graham, I,ll email Chris now. What are you up to now. Just for your info I,m working in Pakistan on turning dung from the Worlds biggest Buffalo herd into biogas (400,000 head in a 3Km2 area). Appreciate any feedback on large concentrations of cattle in compact areas for future projects. We work with all RE technologies and are always interested in new RE technologies. Robert

Re: Renewables

Robert. Excuse the delay in replying - major pc/internet problem! I am currently doing a short piece of work with a university to develop their commercialisation of research activities further. The main areas are around medical diagnostics and ambient technologies. Good luck with the biogas project, (pity you can't harness the belches of all those cattle!)Graham

Re: Renewables

Thanks! One of my favorite rapidshare SE( www.rapidsharemix.com ), with its help it's possible to find almost everything.
