CSJ Planning is an independent Town Planning Consultancy formed in 1996.

We have grown steadily in Bristol from an original partnership of two, to now employing 20 qualified town planners with two office bases.

Based in Bristol as CSJ Planning and in Birmingham as CSJ Brooke-Smith the company now have 5 Directors and a total staff of 25 employees.

The Bristol office consists of 3 Directors - Michael Orr, Andrew Beard & Jeremy Bladon with 3 Associate Directors - Fran Chick, Julie-Marie Laming & Lyn Jones.

We have undertaken many projects contributing to the regeneration of Bristol an dits key sites and have strong links with all the south west Local Planning Authorities.

We offer a complete range of planning and related services throughout the Country. Our background blends private sector experience with a thorough grounding in public service and academia. We provide independent advice to clients ranging from multi-national companies and local authorities to individuals.

The skills of the management team are augmented with professional in-house support of principal and senior planners and the use of selected specialist advisors.

Our work for private sector clients include major housing proposals in both rural and urban locations; major commercial proposals; leisure developments and; complex mixed use developments particularly major schemes. The combination of our two offcies in Bristol and Birmingham means we can easily cover clients portfolios nationally. city centre.
