Encor consulting was established in 2002 to offer a range of environmental consultancy services. The services offered by Encor are mostly delivered by Tim Linnington who is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Member of the Landscape Institute (MLI) and has been registered as an Environmental Auditor with IEMA/EARA since 1994.

Tim’s environmental experience spans 25 years in amenity, commercial and industrial development projects through working in Local Authority, Consultancy and Industry. He has developed specialist expertise in environmental legislation, Environmental Management System (EMS) development and implementation, and BS EN ISO 14001 certification.

Experience in environmental licensing notably includes applications for planning permissions, discharge consents, abstraction licences, EPA 1990 authorisations (now LAPPC) and waste management licensing. Experience also includes project management of Environmental Impact Assessments and carrying out Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.
