Formed in 2007, Miriona provides consultancy and training with IT service management, project management and IT governance to clients throughout the region. The business is situated in Woking but works with clients across the Midlands, London and the South East.
Miriona's vision is to enable clients to improve the way that they work by improving their IT management and governance. Miriona provides businesses with professional consultancy and training, tailored to meet each client's needs, using experienced and skilled staff. The service is designed to improve overall organisational performance by ensuring that the IT service is able to both keep the organisation running and help to drive the business forward.
Miriona is affiliated with selected consultancies and IT suppliers. The business is owned by Jacquie Wakeford who has worked within the IT industry for 20 years. Jacquie Wakeford is an expert within the field, having previously worked for Action for Blind People (as Head of ICT), Legal and General (as project / programme manager), and METHODIKA (as methods consultant).
Bringing together both practical, hands-on, management experience with a wealth of knowledge, Miriona provides a friendly, tailored and professional service. Jacquie, the principal consultant, is a Chartered IT Professional, a Member of the British Computer Society, a Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner and ITIL Foundation certified as well as being educated to degree level.
